Alex Mylona captures the circular shape of the sun in a square frame, in a composition based on the purity of simple geometry. The artist emphasizes on the symbolic dimension of her subject, in order to refer to the concepts of life and birth; at the same time, she refers to her favorite landscape, that of Cyclades.
